Pagani Zonda: new spy-shots

new spy-shots

We are were all waiting for the first pictures showing the facelifted Pagani Zonda. The guys from Autoexpress managed to capture it. The biggest chaning comparing with the previous model, is and will stay the engine that got switched in a V8 instead of the V12. You should think that’s a rather bad thing, but the V8 is still from AMG origine. To be precise, it’s the engine that is used in the SLR 722 GT and delivers 680 bhp.

Knowing Pagani is using as much carbon-fibre as possible for the body of the car, we can expect an 0 – 62 mph (100 kmh) time in less than 3 seconds. Indeed, ready to compete with the fastest exotics on our streets.

On the other hand we have the exterior are some small changes, but details aren’t released yet by Pagani. Eyecatching are the air-intakes at the back of the car and the one in the middle of the car on the roof. These are offcourse to cool-down the 680 wild horses from the V8. Let’s hope Pagani is releasing new pictures soon!
