Rolls-Royce Phantom Coupe

For all of you that rather drive than be driven Rolls Royce will launch a new model at the upcoming Geneva Auto Show in march 2008. The new Rolls-Royce is called the Phantom Coupé and will be the most driver-oriented in the Phantom line. While maintaining the comfort for both driver and passengers Rolls-Royce made the car more dynamic and enjoyable.

The new Rolls-Royce Phantom Coupé will be powered by the same 6.75-litre V12 used in the Rolls-Royce Phantom. This engine produces 453 bhp and according to Rolls Royce it has a segment-leading fuel economy, this doesn’t mean it get’s anywhere near the fuel economy of a hybrid but who cares. For anyone thinking about doing a driving event in one of these it might be good to know it has 25% more fuelcapacity compared to the Phantom Drophead. The car is scheduled to go into production at Goodwood in the summer of 2008!
