Maybach’s Exelero concept was released back in 2005, and stunned the motoring press with its crazy design and performance. The 700hp two-seater is fitted with a bi-turbo V12 engine from the 57 S and was a one-off design commissioned by Fulda Tyres. Despite weighing a whopping 2660kg and being almost 6m long, its massive engine allowed it to hit 62mph in just 4.4s all the way to a top speed of 220mph.

Fulda used this Maybach as a reference vehicle to test their next generation wide tyres and this meant the concept was completely drive-able. If you’ve ever seen one in real life, you’ll notice that it looks about twice as big as it does in the photos.
