The Tango T600 is a smart little 2 person commuter car made by a company called Commuter Cars. It’s ment as clean car (yes, it’s electric) to go to work with. But next to it’s pratical size and it’s clean engine, it’s performance is great. 0 – 100 km/h in 4 seconds and a top speed of 240 km/h! The Tango T600 did the stading 1/4 mile in 12 seconds at over 190 km/h.
Since the car is designed arround a rollcage which is able to sustain crashes up to 200 mph it’s a very safe car. And according to the builders it has great handling capabilities. Which is quite odd if you like at the car you expect it to fall over in every corner.
The down sides of this commuter car are it’s limited range and it’s price. The current batteries only allow the car for a range of 80 miles. More expensive and high tech batteries will increase the range, but not by very much. The price tag of $85.000 seems heavy. But if you think about the environment it may be a good investment. George Clooney bought a Tango T600 and said to drive it often.
