Sunseeker’s sophisticated Merrick motor yacht is our feature for today’s Superyacht Sunday. A striking 28-meter superyacht from the England based shipyard, delivered in 2013 and has been under private ownership till now. A quick glance will grasp the immaculate titanium exterior on the hull, the glamorous look is presented in form of a titanium vinyl wrap.

Italian design masters from Lazzarini Pickering Architetti were responsible for the chic interior which is spread across the three deck layout. The exterior was completed by the in-house team from Sunseeker International. The hull is made of fiberglass.

Merrick will comfortably host up to eight guests within her four cabins which include a master suite, VIP cabin, double cabin and a twin cabin. The master suite is located on the lower deck and among other things it includes a double berth, walk-in-wardrobe and a private en-suite bathroom. The VIP stateroom has similar amenities to the master suite. A crew of 4 is part of the support team onboard the yacht.

The main saloon is generously large and has been fitted with big sofas, the dining area features a modular dining table which is not permanent on this location. The lounge area hosts a number of entertainment features including a 55” Samsung LED TV, KVH M9 satellite TV system and a Bose 5.1 surround sound system.

Powering Merrick is a set of two MTU diesel engines rated at 1,950 hp each, coupled with two Kohler 28 kW 50Hz generators. That will allow the vessel attain a maximum speed of 29 knots and a cruising speed of 23 knots.

Merrick is currently for sale in Monte Carlo through SuperYachtsMonaco who have listed it for €5,500,000 or $6.1 million. The yacht received a € 700,000 price drop up from € 6.2 million. Additionally, Merrick received a € 2 million Platinum Package upgrade to all her systems.
