Our friends over at Private Motor Club bought a 1977 Porsche 911SC production race car which they recently entered on the GTspirit 10th Anniversary Tour. Back in May they took the car over to Dublin for the start of Gumball 3000 Rally and while driving around discovered the amazing rally stage, Sally Gap which has been used many times over the years. They loved it so much they decided to make a film with the 911 which i think you will agree is pretty cool!

The Porsche was used in the 1990s as a race car competing in the Pirelli Porsche Championship, a precursor to the current Carrera Cup series. The car would regularly set fastest laps and finish in the podium against faster RS 911s. The guys at Private Motor Club discovered the car at the beginning of the year still owned by the racing driver who had grown too old to race anymore. They made a offer and bought the car as seen, since then it has had minimal work done and has covered 5000 miles in four months including the GT Spirit 10th Anniversary Tour. Sadly the engine blew up at the end of the tour and the car is currently undergoing a rebuild.
