All-electric concept cars are without a doubt the center of attention at this year’s Beijing Motor Show. Arguably the ‘LeSee’ electric supercar from LeEco steals the show, but there are plenty of other Chinese companies that presented their version of the future EV. One of them is the gigantic automotive import and export firm ‘BAIC’, headquartered in Beijing. They brought this BAIC Arcfox-7 concept car to the show.

The Arcfox-7 is not their first electric supercar; they presented us with the Arcfox-1 electric SUV a while back. The Arcfox-7 supposedly sits higher in the market than their SUV and has been fully designed in Barcelona, Spain. Fitted with a massive 6.6 kWh battery pack, the electric supercar produces some 603 bhp. With that power it is capable of sprinting to 100 km/h in under 3 seconds.

Other than the majority of the presented electric concept cars at the Beijing Motor Show, BAIC definitely has the goods, resources and vision to bring this car to the market. In fact, they are expected to do so by the end of this year. With a range of 186 miles, it theoretically comes pretty close to what most Tesla models are currently capable of.
