Alongside introducing the Dodge Viper ACR Concept at the upcoming SEMA Show 2014, the American manufacturer will reveal the special Dodge Challenger T/A Concept built in collaboration with Mopar. Based around the 2015 Challenger R/T Scat Pack, the T/A Concept promises to act as the most performance oriented variant of the latest generation Challenger excluding the SRT Hellcat.

Beneath the brand new bonnet, the Dodge Challenger T/A Concept features a 6.4-litre V8 engine delivering 485 hp at 6000 rpm as well as 475 lb-ft of torque at 4200 rpm. As a result of this, it should reach 62 mph in the mid-4 second range.

Elsewhere, the two inner most headlights of the Challenger T/A Concept have been replaced by dedicated cold air intakes. As a reminder, the Challenger SRT Hellcat only has one air intake like this. Other key changes include the fitment of 20-inch forged-aluminium wheels finished in matte black. The majority of the braking power is provided by six-piston calipers at the front with two-piece slotted and vented discs.

A Mopar exhaust system has also been included alongside a new front splitter and decklid spoiler.
