Following on from the recent launch of the facelifted second-generation 2015 Mercedes-Benz CLS, the Sport and Night packages for the luxurious German car have been revealed.
Starting with the Sport Package for the 2015 Mercedes-Benz CLS, the car receives new 18-inch alloy wheels finished in Himalaya grey with 19-inch wheels also being available in a selection of different and unique designs. Elsewhere, the Sport Package adds sports suspension and larger front brake discs with brake calipers featuring Mercedes-Benz lettering. Finally, the Sport Package adds new stainless steel tailpipes for the dual exhaust system. The Sport Package can be fitted for all models except the CLS 500.
As for the Night Package, it too comes with a selection of different 18-inch and 19-inch wheel designs as well as gloss black wing mirrors, black window surrounds, tinted rear windows and gloss black on the front splitter, front grille and rear apron. This package is only available with the AMG Line kit.
As for the new car in general, the styling changes aren’t huge because it is just a facelifted model. With that being said, they are apparent and very eye-catching. The most dramatic change to the front end is the adoption of a new front grille complete with diamond plastic inserts to give the facelifted CLS a really luxurious feel. Also at the front, the car features an altered bumper with reshaped air intakes as well as a new front splitter and new headlights of which the Multibeam LED are an option.
