So it turns out that a fourth Lexus RC variant is set to debut at the upcoming Geneva Motor Show 2014 with the confirmation the new RC 300h F Sport will make an appearance. Consequently, it will join the Lexus RC F, RC F GT3 Concept and RC 350 F Sport at the show.
Official pictures of the new Lexus RC 300h F Sport have yet to be revealed but some of the key details about it have. It will be based on the standard RC 300h which debuted at the Tokyo Auto Show last year, but will receive the new F Sport package offering similar upgrades to the RC 350 F Sport.
Lexus RC 350 F Sport
Most importantly, the Lexus RC 300h F Sport will receive the same Adaptive Variable Suspension (AVS) system as the RC 350 F Sport. AVS automatically adjusts the damping performance of all four wheels in response to the conditions and driving inputs. The RC 300h F Sport will feature two selectable driving modes, Normal and Sport. When Sport is enabled, the Adaptive Variable Suspension system improves steering response while also helping the car corner faster and more controllably.
The F Sport variant will also offer a similar spindle grille to the RC F and RC 350 F Sport while also featuring a slightly more aggressive design along with 19-inch alloy wheels.
Under the hood, the Lexus RC 300h F Sport receive the same engine as the standard RC 300h. That is a 2.5-liter four-cylinder petrol engine delivering a total of 176 hp. Mated to this is a 141 hp electric motor making for a combined total power output of 217 hp.
