We recently posted a story of a subtly modified Lamborghini Gallardo Superleggera that was worked on by SR Auto. Now we have another tuning project on a first generation Gallardo and as you can see, it is anything but subtle!
xXx Performance felt that the entry level Lamborghini in stock form looks a little bland so started off by wrapping their example in stunning chrome black with the shafts of the side skirt, the interior edges of the front air ducts and the roof edge gleaming in neon orange. Of course the big V12 Lamborghini’s feature dramatic scissor doors which the tuners thoough the V10 Gallardo also required! In addition to the traditional LSD gull-wing doors, the xXx Gallardo stands out optically, for a multi-part wide body kit. The front apron in LP560 design and rear apron and the massive side enlargements have been fitted to broaden the cars muscular image. For the same purpose, xXx Performance endowed the rear with original parts made of real carbon from the Gallardo Superleggera model such as the rear flap, rear wing or also the side view mirror. The delicate three pronged LP560 rear lights have also been used.
Exclusive mbDesign KV1 Deep Concave rims in the dimension 9×20 inches with 235/30R20 in front and 12×20 inches with 305/25R20 Hankook S1 Evo tires in the rear add to the dynamic looks of the car.
xXx Performace have put a lot of work into not just the looks of this little Lamborghini but the mechanicals to. The maximum performance of the V10 has been upped to slightly over 560 horse power thanks to the special carbon air-boxes of BMC and the optimization of the engine software. The engine upgrade was accompanied by the company’s own sports exhaust system that is capable of being controlled through Bluetooth. Optionally xXx Performance offers menacing biturbo conversions for the Lamborghini V10 in three power stages from 850 to 1.200 hp!
Falling into the supercar category the Gallardo is designed to be fast on track and as a result the ride is rather harsh in a standard car. xXx Performance took this into account and replaced the original springs with, believe it or not, G-ride air suspension produced exclusively for xXx Performance in combination with the specially adapted and two-fold hardness adjustable KW damping!
