BMW M5 Crash

The Nurburgring is dubbed the ‘Green-Hell’ and once again another performance car has suffered on its twists and turns. A number of reports and images have surfaced confirming that a BMW F10 M5 ‘Ring-Taxi’ crashed today, closing the ring for a while.

Details of exactly what caused the massive crash are yet to surface but it is not the first time a ‘Ring Taxi’ has crashed at the track. The BMW’s are piloted by expert drivers who are very experienced and are qualified to drive high powered M cars around the track with paying passengers. Fortunately there have been no reports of injury, a testament to the levels of safety that BMW have built into the M5. The car was crashed at high-speed on a left hander just after the famous Karussell corner. This corner is often taken at speeds well over 160km/h.
