Upon releasing the BMW Pininfarina Gran Lusso Coupé earlier this year, BMW insiders suggested that a production model could be on the horizon in the form of a BMW 8-Series. While we remain sceptical that a massive BMW 8-Series will reach the production line anytime soon, Theophilus Chin recently completed the following renderings of such a car based off the BMW Pininfarina Gran Lusso Coupé concept car.
With BMW set to introduce a facelifted and updated BMW 7-Series very soon to compete with the advanced 2014 Mercedes-Benz S-Class, creating a BMW 8-Series may seem like a pointless move and on paper it certainly seems that way. Nevertheless, these rendering by Theophilus Chin preview what a possible BMW 8-Series sedan inspired by the BMW Pininfarina Gran Lusso Coupe would look like if it ever hit the production line. And we must say, it certainly looks very impressive!
