Boston Marathon Exotic Car Rally

We recently received word about a wonderful event in the Boston area to benefit those who were effected by the Boston Marathon Bombings. It is an event being organised for just 30 exotic cars. All proceeds will go directly to One Fund Boston and the goal is to raise $20,000.

April 15th, 2013 is a date that most Bostonian’s will never forget. A day that started early with excitement as we celebrated one of Boston’s longstanding traditions, the Boston Marathon. That celebration quickly turned to panic as a result of senseless violence with meaningless purpose. A sens of community helped bring strength to a chaotic week. The idea of the Boston Marathon Exotic Car Rally is to brighten Boylston St. and create smiles by assembling a powerful display of exotic and colorful automotive artwork.

SCRT is a private exotic car club with hundreds of members residing in various regions of the North East, from Maine to New York. It is a collective effort of passionate automobile owners who enjoy driving their exotic cars while supporting charitable causes. The organization has raised significant funds for various local charities including the Make-A-Wish Foundation of CT, the Brain Injury Organization of NH, the Brain Injury Organization of MA and as the Boys and Girls Club of Newport, RI.

The Boston Marathon Exotic Car Rally will take place on June 16th, 2013. The rally will traverse the 26.2 mile Boston Marathon route leading to the finish line on Boylston St. A special fundraising event will take place during the lunch ceremony near ground zero to the second bombing. Registration is now open! The event is limited to 35 exotics with a goal of raising $20,000 for One Fund.
