World Record: MTM-Nokian RS6 reaches 335.713 km/h on Ice

Finnish tyre manufacturer Nokian announced this week that they have broken the world speed record on ice.

With the help of an Audi RS6 by german tuning specialist MTM and the use of the Nokian Hakkapeliitta 8 studded tyres they set the new world speed record on ice at 335.713 km/h! The extremely modified Audi RS6 managed the incredible feat on March 9th, 2013, on a 7.5 mile track created on the ice of the Gulf of Bothnia which is located near Oulu in Finland.
