We’ve previously brought you Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG creations from the team at MEC Design but until now, the tuning specialists hadn’t tackled the SLS Roadster. Thankfully, they recently did just that and images and details of their latest tuning package for the car have been released.
Starting from the outside, the SLS Roadster by MEC Design features a completely new bodykit, including new front bumper with LED-insets and carbon fiber front lip spoiler, rear bumper with carbon fiber GT3 diffuser, side skirts, and a rear trunklid spoiler which can be optioned in carbon fiber.
The car then rolls on a set of MEC Design wheels measuring 10.5 front and 11.5×21 at the rear.
Heading inside, the car then features a new Alcantara wrapped sports steering wheel developed by MEC Design, as well as a selection of new carbon fiber accents and finishes including the center console, door panels, door frames and seat cladding. Finishing off the interior upgrades are new MEC Design floor mats with real leather edging and double stiching.
The most crucial upgrades however, took place beneath the car with the fitment of a new stainless steel exhaust system with an hydraulic coilover suspension system completing the performance upgrades.
The "ghetto" rims are unnecessary, but apart from this the car is gorgeous!
