With the new SRT Viper having a significantly improved interior over the previous Dodge Viper, American muscle cars and supercars from competing manufacturers will also have to improve their interiors with the new 2014 Chevrolet Corvette to be the first recipient of an upgraded interior from the American brand.
To help create further interest in the upcoming supercar, Chevrolet has released a teaser video showcasing the new interior with Ryan Vaughan, Chevrolet’s Performance Car Interior Design Manager narrating the video.

Vaughan also states during the clip that “The exterior excites you, it draws you in, but the interior is where you exactly experience the car from – it’s literally the connection we have to the car so it has to be perfect.”
Additionally, it’s been confirmed that the 2014 Chevrolet Corvette will make its debut on the 13th of January next year, ahead of its public debut at the North American International Auto Show just a few days later.
As previously reported, the new Corvette will feature a 6.2 liter LT1 V8 engine producing 450hp and 609Nm of torque in base form, helping to launch the car to 100km/h in less than four seconds. A multitude of variants will be offered throughout the life of the new car as well.
