The Rolls-Royce Phantom has always been a luxury car founded around its ability to transport wealthy business people around the world, whether they’re behind the wheel or have a private chauffeur.
In fact, since it was first launched, the Phantom has gone onto become one of the most recognisable and iconic cars ever introduced and stands out in a crowd like a sore thumb. Not only is it bold and in-your-face, it’s also one of the most luxurious cars on the market which helps to account to its $1,000,000 plus price tag in some countries.
Fitted with a 6.75 liter V12 engine, the Phantom produces 453hp in stock form and comes fitted with either a ZF six-speed automatic transmission or an 8-speed automatic gearbox. Tipping the scales at 5,600 pounds, the Phantom is one of the heaviest cars on the market, but is it still capable of off-roading despite this hefty weight?
Well, TaxTheRich100 (ironic much?) on YouTube has released a new video of what it calls to be a ‘Rolls Royce Rally Car’ which showcases the Phantom in an environment Rolls Royce engineers certainly didn’t have in mind when creating the car.
In the above video, you’ll see this Phantom Series II sliding, drifting and spinning its tires up on the damp grass, and while we don’t see the Phantom becoming the next Lancia Delta Intergrale, it’s good to know just how well-built the luxury car is!
So he owns that whole field, apparently.
Rolls Royce Rally Car XD. I’d be scared to get the inside dirty.
