The upcoming 2014/2015 BMW X5 M was spied while testing at the Nurburgring Nordschleife. The heavily camouflaged prototype is based up on the newly facelifted BMW X5, which we will see soon.
The new platform will weight savings of up to 150kg and offer improved fuel economics. The new X5 M will also get a few extra horses pushing the total performance above 555hp, which is the output of the twin turbo 4.4 liter V8 fitted in the current X5 M.
