Rain can cause real problems for high performance vehicles. We have a reminder of just how bad those problems can be, via this dashcam recorded in China last week. It shows a BMW M3 that failed to cope with a heavy rain storm, lost traction and hit the central reservation, narrowly avoiding two other cars in the process.
Fortunately, nobody was hurt in the accident. The BMW M3 sustained heavy damage though, crashing head-first into the barrier which caused it to roll over.
Frozen silver… shame. This is what happens when slow cars don’t move out of the passing lane. If the red camera car wasn’t there this wouldn’t have happened.
