Following our road test of the MTM T 500 2.5 TFSI 4motion ‒ based on a Volkswagen T5 ‒ released on Monday, we can now show you the road test video made by our friend and partner Shmee150.
MTM have fitted the 2.5 straight-five TFSI engine as found in the Audi TT RS and RS3 into the engine bay of the Volkswagen. The engine as been upgraded to boost an impressive 472 horsepower and a maximum torque of 625Nm. Power is transferred to all four wheels via a modified transmission. These tweaks enables the light commercial vehicle or peoples-carrier to hit a top speed of 280km/h, making the VW an ideal van for those in a hurry.
