Ferrari 458 Italia Wrecked in Munich

Early Sunday morning at just past two o’clock in the morning, a 52-year-old lost control of his Ferrari 458 Italia crashing through railings and onto a tramway. The cause of the accident was drink driving at excessive speed. The force of the accident ripped off the passenger door.

The driver sustained no injuries, his passenger was treated for minor bruising. The car was a total loss and the barrier to the track was also badly damaged. Estimates put the damage at around 200,000 euros. This was the 704th accident involving the tram system in Old Town Munich. The accident delayed the tram service for around two hours.
