UK tuner A.Kahn Design has released a new Range Rover showcasing a new interior refinement, called Harris Tweed. Harris Tweed has been described as “the Champagne of fabrics” and is the only fabric in the world governed by its own Act of Parliament law.
The law decrees that genuine Harris Tweed must be made from pure virgin wool which has been dyed and spun on the islands and hand-woven at the home of the weaver in the Outer Hebrides of Scotland. The cloth is then returned to the mill for finishing. Only then can it be given the famous Orb stamp which authenticates it, meter by meter. And each piece of tweed can be traced back to the individual home weaver.
The storm black pearl coloured Range Rover Harris Tweed edition by A.Kahn Design has an aerodynamic styling package consisting of a front bumper complete with ring bezels, 3D mesh and integrated LED daylight running lights, rear bumper/exhaust diffuser, illuminated door sill plates, side skirts with insert detailing, liquid gold break calipers, front grill, front bumper lower section, side vents and side skirts, door handles and tail gate trim and fog light surrounds.
The vehicle rides on 22 inch Kahn RS wheels with matt pearl grey detailing, fit all original center caps. The Kahn stainless steel quad exhaust system is added as well.
The Harris Tweed interior features front and rear seats in black quilted buttoned perforated soft leather with Harris Tweed inserts, extended 24 piece interior wood facia trim in piano black and billet steel finish, and clock facia with Swarovski diamond bezel. Machined aluminum foot pedals, churchill Time Clock facia with Swarovski Diamond Bezel, dashboard, steering wheel, glove box and door panel contrast stitching complement the interior package.
