Morgan are presenting what amounts to a partial model overhaul at the Geneva Motor Show 2012. One of the four vehicles they have on display is the Morgan Aero Coupe. It is an update on an old design, inspired by the GT3 Aero, and marketed for practical long distance touring. We got up close an personal with it at the Morgan stand!

The Morgan Aero Coupe is constructed entirely from aluminium. It features a 4.8 liter BMW V8 engine linked to a six-speed manual or an automatic transmission. Maximum power is 367bhp or 390bhp with sports exhaust. The maximum torque is 490Nm. The cockpit of the Aero Coupe features ash hardwood, which surroundes the cockpit and doors. It can be hand polished in a colour of your choosing.
