Our friend Cvdzijden spotted this Lamborghini Gallardo Superleggera at the ATS Wheel stand during this year’s Essen Motor Show. It has received a few modifications from NE Tuning, however, we were most interested by the LED lights placed on the brake calipers.
The Lamborghini gets ‘Twinlight’ ATS Wheels in 20 inches, a stainless steel butterfly valve exhaust system, BMC carbon airbox, coilover suspension system dropping the ride height by 40mm and an ECU tune. What’s your opinion on LED’s attached to brake calipers? Must have accessory or passing fad?
Thats actually the brake hat where the leds are on, not the caliper. Also dont think its gonna handle the heat, so must be just for show.
Yes, these brakes not only have led’s for show though, they also use 15″ rotors made from carbon composites, and lightweight aluminum calipers with titanium pistons to keep heat transference to the brake fluid nill after running them to death. Brakes system runs like 3K alone.
