Spyshots: Mercedes CLS Shooting Break

The Mercedes-Benz CLS Shooting Break has been spotted while testing. The car which was first introduced as a concept at the 2010 Beijing International Automotive Exhibition is scheduled to enter production in 2012.

Aside from the rear part of the car, not much is expected to change from the standard CLS. The range of engines for the Shooting Break will also be the same as in the CLS Coupe.

The prototypes spotted near the Mercedes plant in Sindelfingen in Southern Germany were remarkably undisguised. This would suggest the car is almost ready for production. The CLS Shooting Break is likely to make its first public appearance at the Geneva Motor Show next March.
