MEC have announced a new diffuser to be added to their current range for the Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG. There’s not much to be said about it other than the fact that it is a lot less discrete than what Mercedes, and indeed MEC Design, originally fitted to the car.
It appears to take its cue from the aggressive type of diffuser often employed by Formula 1 cars to keep them planted. In a standard material, the new diffuser costs € 1,099, however, if you want a carbon fiber version, the price increases to € 3,589. The same pricing applies to all other MEC Design diffusers.
