The Aston Martin DB AR1 was a limited edition Zagato-build roadster, built for the US market exclusively in 2003. 99 were built and all were sold to US customers. It was introduced at the Los Angeles Auto Show in January 2003, when it had no convertible top at all. The DB AR1 was based on the DB7 Vantage Volante and the AR1 name stands for American Roadster 1.
