The Ferrari 512BB Berlinetta Boxer owned by Formula 1 driver and 2009 World Champion Jenson Button is for sale. This car will be auctioned at the Collectors’ Motor Cars and Automobilia on the 11th of April in the RAF Museum, Hendon (UK).
The 512BB is powered by a 5.0 liter V12 which delivers 360bhp and a maximum torque of 450Nm, resulting in an acceleration from 0 to 100km/h in 5.5 seconds and a top speed above 260km/h.
Only 929 512BBs were produced and this right-hand drive 512BB was built in 1978. While Button purchased the car with 49,100 miles on the clock, he only drove the car a further 155 miles. According to Button, his F1 commitments will not enable him to enjoy the car to its fullest.
