Yetserday, Jalopnik posted a set of pictures showing what appeared to be a stretched Corvette, similar to what we would expect a mid-engined C6 protoype to look like. The photos baffled our colleagues for a little while and the debate into the mid-engined Corvette temporarily reopened.
It now seems that these photos do show a test mule, not from Corvette, but instead from Fisker. The revalation comes after examining old shots of the Fisker Karma and comparing the identical number plates. So is this where the mid-engined Corvette rumours came from? Perhaps, but nobody knows for sure!
