Hybrid is hot these days. Even the larger sports car manufacturers are planning the release of hybrid cars. Ferrari showcased its 599 HY-KERS at Geneva Motor Show and Porsche had its 911 GT3 R Hybrid on display.
It looks like Porsche’s hybrid technology might find its way to road-legal sports cars in the very near future. This 911 GT3 Hybrid Prototype was spotted in Germany by Insideline.com. This prototype proves that the Germans take the ‘green’ effort seriously!

In case you fools havent noticed, Porshce’s website said that they are building a GT3 R hybrid for the past month, so it isnt really breaking news when you announce it is spied in public, or that it is in development.
