Mercedes showed only a few interesting novelties for the higher and sports car market segment in Geneva. Most important introduction is the downsizing of the 63 AMG engine from 6.3 to 5.5 liters, but more on that later. Mercedes also showed a new edition of the SL 500. The Mercedes SL 500 Night Edition features among other things a new matte black exterior paint, 19 inch AMG wheels and new seats in black nappa leather. The Night Edition is not limited and can be ordered as an optional package for the Mercedes SL coupe-convertible.
