The ‘Going green”-hype has hit Porsche at full strength. After the Porsche GT3 R Hybrid and the new Cayenne Hybrid S, the Porsche 918 Spyder Concept is the thrid in just a few weeks time that supports the change in environmental perspective around the automotive world.
Powering the concept is an electric battery unit and a 3.4 liter V8 together producing the equivalent of 500bhp or 160kW. The hybrid setup ensures a sprint from 0 to 100km/h (62mph) in 3.2 seconds and top speed at 320km/h (198mph). Next to this achievement, the interior of the Spyder offers a glimpse into what we can expect from future Porsche interiors.
Please rip out all of this electric crap, put in a proper manual gear box, and put that into production.
Please rip out all of this petrol crap, go full ass electric, and put that into production!
Put on Christmas list this year.
