Mercedes AMG shows a unique gold version of their Mercedes SLS AMG in Dubai. The colour dubbed AMG Desert Gold is currently only used for the show car in Dubai, but if customer demand is there AMG Performance Studio is likely to offer the slick matt Desert Gold colour as one of the ten colour options for SLS AMG buyers.
“The premiere of the SLS AMG in “AMG Desert Gold” at the Dubai International Motor Show is a token of respect for the Middle East. After the USA, Germany and Japan, the Gulf region is the fourth-largest market for AMG,” says Volker Mornhinweg, CEO of Mercedes-AMG GmbH. It’s without a doubt that with the demand for high-end supercars and the love for unique and sometimes over the top car modifications in the Middle East, the Dubai Motor Show is the place to be for this matt gold SLS AMG.
Other exterior details have been finished in a high-gloss black and that colour can also be found in the interior. For this car the AMG wheels have been painted black and finished with a golden ring on the rim flange.
