The Donkervoort D8 GT, which is on the market since May this year, is getting a small upgrade. The D8 GT Coupé receives a new diffuser improving the aerodynamics of the vehicle. The change was tested duing the Dubai 24-hour race early January. The outcome is that all new D8 GTs leaving the Donkervoort’s workshop will have the new diffuser.
Despite the new and bigger diffuser, the Donkervoort isn’t gaining any more weight. By using loads of carbon fiber the total weight is still 650kg. Combine this with the 1.8 liter turbocharged Audi 4-cylinder engine producing 180, 210 or 270bhp it is hard to underestimate this sports car at any traffic light.
