Remember our post a little while ago about the two ultra-rare CLK GTR’s up for auction? The sale actually went through at the end of last week and we’re pleased to say that both cars sold for a whopping £1.1 million combined total. The two cars were among 84 that went through the Sotherby’s/RM auction house on the same day.
The right-hand drive 2006 Roadster achieved £616,000 whereas, the coupé sold for £522,500. Other cars to be sold that day included a 1950 Aston Martin DB2 Team Car ‘VMF 64′ which sold for a record price of £550,000 as well as a Bugatti Type 57 Stelvio that achieved £440,000.
