Pagani Automobili S.p.A. is an Italian manufacturer known for its exclusive high profile supercars made from special materials like carbon fibre and in an unique style. Founded in 1992 by Horacio Pagani the factory is based in San Cesario sul Panaro, near Modena, Italy. GTspirit visited the factory and had a closer look at the complete production of these wonderfull sports cars.

A Pagani – Zonda F, Zonda S or Zonda R – is made, produced and designed by forty employees in total. Twenty people within the factory and twenty in the design and management departments. The small showroom contains three cars and special extras like a Pagani-style motorcycle – a present from a Dutch Pagani Zonda owner – and a home audiosystem.

Pagani is an independent company which has a close relationship with Mercedes. This is mainly due to the engine used in their cars. The initial version was a 6.0-litre, but currently Zondas use a 7.3-litre engine.

When you visit the factory you will notice the Italian atmosphere of a manufacturer producing a true unique product. A nice example is the production of their own carbon fibre monoques within the facility itself. The rather small space gives them enough room to produce two to three cars at the same time. To enhance the production facility the Italian carmaker will move to a new location soon. A newly developed factory is finalized and on its way ensuring more space and a bigger production facility.

When you want to visit the factory in San Cesario sul Panaro, contact Francesco Bini at PaganiTour.com. He is more than willing to show you around in the small showroom and factory. It gives you a good view on the factory and the way Pagani produces their supercars. Do not forget to stop by when you are near Modena and get a tour sorted with Francesco.
