Normally you first get a powerful sedan and afterwards the break, coupé and cabrio of a car. Audi did it the other way with putting the RS6 Avant in the showrooms before all the others. Almost a year after the Avant the Sedan will join the Audi ranks. The RS6 uses a twin-turbo direct injection version of the S6’s 5.2 liter V10. The engine produces 580 bhp which makes it jump to 62 mph (100 kmh) in 4.6 seconds. The sprint from zero to 125 mph (200 kmh) takes only 14.9 seconds. The RS6 is be available with optional ceramic disc brakes. Quattro permanent four-wheel-drive and a six-speed tiptronic gearbox are standard.
