The 1st time that this beauty was shown, was at the Detroit Motorshow in 1995. A Vertigo was even chosen to be the pace car for every 1995 ProCar championship race, including the Monaco Formula One GP. Everybody must have thought: why is this not a production car, it would be very exclusive!
A racing version was developed in 1994, and the car was later shown at the Brussels Motor Show in 1996. The year after, the Vertigo was fitted with gullwing doors, with 3.0-liter V-6 motivation courtesy of Alfa Romeo following a year later. A new model, the Streiff (shown above), rolled out in 2001, and once again made the rounds in Brussels the following year.
