A stunning Audi R8 V10 Plus wrapped in gold has been revealed at Audi Forum Neckarsulm in Germany. This model pays homage to the R8’s triumph at the Golden Steering Wheel awards in the “sports car” category, where the selection was made by readers of Auto Bild magazine.
Powering the Audi R8 V10 Plus is a 5.2-litre V10 engine with quattro all-wheel drive and S-tronic gearbox. The engine delivers 610 hp and 560 Nm of torque, which is 70 hp and 20 Nm of torque more than the standard R8 V10. The sprint from 0 to 100 km/h can be done in 3.5 and the 0 to 200 km/h time is a noteworthy 9.9 seconds. Its maximum speed is 330 km/h. The R8 V10 Plus gets the new Audi Space Frame chassis, leading to a reduction in the weight of the vehicle.
