The first spy shots of the facelifted Porsche 911 GT3 have emerged!

While all of the other 911 models have already received a mid-cycle facelift last year, Porsche has yet to release a facelift for the GT3. However, judging from these spy shots, it would seem as though the GT3 will likely be receiving a facelift in the very near future.

While details are scarce as to what improvements/changes we can expect to see on the new GT3, these first development spy shots give us a basic idea as to what exterior tweaks are coming. The most noticeable changes over the current GT3 are the front bumper and headlights. Both have been slightly modified on this development car. Because of the changes to the front fascia of the car, we also expect similar minor changes to the rear of the car as well. Unfortunately, these spy shots show that this particular GT3 was running standard rear bodywork.

The new GT3 will remain naturally-aspirated according to all accounts. As with most of Porsche’s mid-cycle refreshes, we don’t expect many (if any) changes to the powertrain or engine options.
