BMW M2 Convertible Already Imagined

In the performance car world, automakers often launch high-performance coupes and then down the road, reveal convertible versions of the same models. So following yesterday’s debut of the BMW M2, it was only a matter of time before the car was rendered as a drop-top with the first of those renderings coming from X-Tomi Design.

As you’d expect, the car looks identical to the M2 coupe with the exception of the convertible roof. As the BMW 2-Series is available as a convertible already, the German marque certainly has the ability to offer an M2 Convertible.

BMW’s larger models like the M4 and M6 are both available in convertible guises and the automaker could go down the same route with the M2. Prior to the launch of the M2, the M235i topped out the 2-Series range and it is available both as a coupe and a convertible.
