An exceptionally rare Ferrari 599 SA Aperta is set to be sold by Bonhams at its Zoute Sale auction. As one of just 80 examples ever produced, the 599 convertible is expected to sell for between 800,000 and 1.2 million euros.

This bright red example has travelled 4786 km and features a number of bespoke elements throughout the interior. For example, a number of trim pieces, knobs and the paddle shifters have a piano black finish rather than the aluminium finish offered as standard for the car. The rest of the cabin is adorned in stunning black leather complete with red piping and red contrast stitching. There is also a white rev gauge and white Cavallino badges on the seats.

Exterior wise, the red has been joined with silver five-spoke wheels, red brake calipers, yellow centre caps and Scuderia Shields on the front wheel arches. The window frame, wing mirrors and rear pillars also featured a matte grey finish.

The Ferrari 599 SA Aperta is actually more closely related to the 599 GTO than it is the standard 599 GTB. That means it features a 599 GTO-spec V12 engine delivering a total of 661 hp and 457 lb-ft of torque, resulting in a 0-100 km/h sprint of 3.2 seconds and a 325 km/h top speed.
