Evren Milano has rendered what a possible Ferrari LaFerrari Spider could look like. The original picture of the white LaFerrari was clicked by ‘F141’ and Milano has given it a soft top makeover.
While the LaFerrari coupe made its global debut at the Geneva Motor Show 2013, around an year later rumours emerged about a Spider variant of the hybrid supercar that could be produced in limited numbers (around 10-50). It was said that if the LaFerrari’s convertible variant were to go into production, it would get the coupe’s powertrain. The added weight of the top could mean a slightly slower 0 to 100 km/h time and top speed, but the price would be at least double than the coupe.
Several outlets reported that the LaFerrari Spider was being planned for a launch in 2015, however, as we are nearing September-end, Ferrari is yet to officially state anything about this supposed model and frankly, it doesn’t look like that the LaFerrari Spider is on the company’s agenda. It could be quite an interesting supercar but Ferrari appears to be busy with its other projects right now.
Proportions look wrong…
