Bentley Motors has announced the opening of its first mountain lodge, which is located in Kitzbühel, Austria. The chalet is nestled in an Alpine hot spot, surrounded by stunning peaks and valleys. It is situated right at the foot of the famous Hahnenkammrennen downhill ski race and just metres away from the Kitzbühel City Centre.

The lodge will be managed by Bentley Motors in partnership with hotelier Richard Hauser and is available for private booking for the company’s clients and “friends”. It draws influence from the techniques, materials and detailing found in the interiors of Bentley’s vehicles. The decor is contemporary, yet starkly influenced by the local architecture.

“The Bentley Lodge Kitzbühel has everything to become a class-of-its-own destination. One of the latest Bentley models will be available at all times for the guests and we are glad to offer various bespoke experiences such as fishing, hunting, horseback riding, skiing, tennis, golf and spa treatments,” said Robert Engstler, Regional Director Europe at Bentley Motors.

He further added, “Every Bentley motor car is created, not merely assembled. The interior of each car is trimmed with the finest supple leather, hand-finished wood veneers, gleaming metals and deep-pile carpets and at the Bentley Lodge Kitzbühel we give our customers the opportunity to experience these materials first hand and commission their very own Bentley.”

Since the property is located in Kitzbühel, it is a good spot for people attending international events that take place in the region like the Austrian Open tennis tournament, the Kitzbüheler Alpenrallye and the annual World Cup ski races. It was also the location we visited for our review of the Bentley Continental GTC W12 a few years ago.
