Photo Of The Day: Lamborghini Veneno Roadster in Beverly Hills

A matte black Lamborghini Veneno Roadster recently arrived in the United States and was snapped rolling through the streets of Beverly Hills by South Bay Exotics. As you’d imagine, the insane Italian supercar sent locals absolutely mad with its outlandish design.

Two units of the Veneno coupe reside in the United States and this could be the only Veneno Roadster delivered to the U.S. While the vast majority of its exterior has been painted in matte black, a number of bright green accents are also present most notably on the front splitter and side skirts.

While just three Veneno coupes were produced for customers, a total of nine Veneno Roadsters are being produced for $4.4 million each.

The package of the Veneno Roadster is very similar to the Veneno which itself, takes inspiration from the Aventador. The engine is the Aventador’s new 6.5 litre V12 unit, uprated to 750 hp in the Veneno Roadster. Power is driven through an all-wheel drive system via a modified ISR transmission. Five settings are available with pushrod suspension and horizontal sprint/damper units also featured.
