Watchmaker TAG Heuer has just unveiled four brand new special-edition timepieces for the Senna Collection and a new advertising campaign.
Each of the four watches which make up the TAG Heuer Senna Collection include a bright red Senna ‘S’ on the dial, case back and bezel. Additionally, three of the watches include the ‘Legend’ bracelet with S-shaped links in the same style as once worn by Ayrton Senna.
Starting with the Tag Heuer Carrera, the Senna Collection includes the Carrera Calibre 16 Chronograph Senna Edition either with the aforementioned ‘Legend’ bracelet or instead with a rubber strap. The watch also adopts a 44 mm diameter automatic chronograph complete with a date function and a sunray dial finished in Anthracite grey alongside three counters.
The Senna Collection then also includes the Tag Heuer Formula 1 Chronograph Senna Edition available in two flavours. Both feature a 43 mm diameter quartz chronograph measuring to the nearest tenth of a second and complete with a date function. One of the two Formula 1 Chronograph Senna Edition timepieces includes red numbers on the anthracite grey dial while the other features a black dial with yellow numbers.
The watches were unveiled at a special event in Barcelona, Spain which saw current McLaren-Honda Formula One driver Fernando Alonso appear on stage alongside a hologram of Ayrton Senna and one of his Formula 1 racing cars.
