The range of M Performance parts and accessories for the BMW 2-Series Convertible have just been revealed by the German manufacturer.
For starters, the M Performance upgrades manage to extract an additional 14 hp from the BMW 220d Convertible bringing the total figure up to 204 hp from 190 hp. As a result of this, the 220d Convertible equipped with the M Performance Power Kit can reach 100 km/h from a standstill 0.3 seconds faster. Despite the power gains, the car still returns between 4.4-litres and 4.7-litres of petrol per 100 km and CO2 emissions from 116-124 g/km.
Visually, a number of bespoke elements can be added to both the exterior and interior. For the exterior, M Performance parts available for the BMW 2-Series Convertible are extended side skirts, a more pronounced rear diffuser, carbon wing mirrors, a blacked out front kidney grille and some black side decals.
Interior wise, a plethora of accents finished in carbon fibre can be found. Such elements include the selector lever trim or the gearshift lever in manual cars. Elsewhere, the gaiter is finished in alcantara while the centre console trim, interior trim strips and centre armrest can also be finished in carbon fibre. Additionally, the M Performance steering wheel is available with the Integrated Race Display as well as new stainless steel pedal covers and LED door sill plates.
