Under the hood, the Corvette C7 Z06 gets a new, LT4 supercharged 6.2 litre V8 engine which delivers at least 625 horsepower and a staggering 861 Nm of torque. The aluminum frame carries over from the Corvette Stingray and will be shared, pretty much as it is, with the Corvette Racing C7.R.
It is a stiffer design which allows for a removable carbon fiber roof panel to be added, but rumour has it that for the first time in decades, we may well see a hardcore convertible Corvette and this render sent in by artist Hansen Art shows us what this remarkable could look like!
