You may not have heard of small automaker Ron Automobile, but that could be about to change with the company recently previewing its upcoming RXX sports car set to become the latest in an ever increasing number of lightweight sports cars
As the following official renderings show, the Ron Automobile RXX sports car features futuristic styling with two seats mounted behind each other just like a fighter jet. Each of these two seats have their own roll bars.
The Ron Automobile RXX sports car is set to be constructed from carbon fiber and thanks to its lightweight body, Ron Automobile hopes it’ll provide excellent handling and good acceleration. No engine details about the Ron Automobile RXX sports car have been released, but it’ll be offered in a selection of different variants. These will be the RXX, RXX-S and RXX-R and each will feature unique styling and differing power outputs.
The Ron Automobile RXX sports car is set to be constructed in Mexico and if it debuts successfully, Ron Automobile would likely focus on selling the RXX sports car in Europe and North America.
On top of the Ron Automobile RXX sports car, the small manufacturer is also developing a second sports car model dubbed the Ron Automobile R7. That car would draw on inspiration from the Lotus 7 and a prototype is currently under construction.
